Couch Compass uses account information and saved preferences to provide personalized show recommendations and Premium features.

Information we use

When you create an account, we may store your email address, saved and watched shows, quiz preferences, streaming-service preferences, and subscription status.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Couch Compass does not store your full card number.

Usage analytics

Couch Compass records basic first-party usage events—such as quiz starts, swipes, Premium clicks, and device type—to understand which features are useful and improve the experience. These events are stored with Couch Compass data in Supabase; we do not use advertising trackers for this analytics setup.

Account data

Your saved picks and preferences may be synced through Supabase so they are available when you sign in on another device.
